Rubber channel above wall panel comming out

This is a 2014 27fb sterling international. Recently the channel shaped rubber began sliding out. Every time on the road it slides further. It's impossible to slide back in. We could just cut it off but it may serve as a buffer between the panel and the aluminum. Any advice?
Thanks

The only way to get that back is to remove the entire panel. You could try some lube of some sort to see if it slides easier, but it's doubtful it'll go all the way back in.
