Replacing mini blinds with roman shades

We have a 2011 Flying Cloud with mini blinds. My wife wants to replace them with roman shades - she doesn't like bumping into the mini blinds in bedroom windows. Any suggestions?

Of course you can--you can do anything you like to your Airstream. Make it your own!

Flying Cloud 2012 want to replace mini blinds

I am on the same page - we have a 2012 Flying Cloud and I am constantly adjusting the mini blinds near the bed. I would like to make my own curtains, but am wondering if anyone could recommend curtain hardware that will work well in an airstream. I was thinking of some kind of IKEA wire curtain rods at the top and bottom of windows. Has anyone ever tried this? Roman blinds could be a good idea too....

Little Green Notebook: Make Shades Out of Mini Blinds This a great idea for turning mini blinds into solid roman shade using the old mini blinds. Working on sleeping area first then living area to get my courage up. You can provide light control and color design too. Good luck
