Replacement toggle for Oceanair roller shade

The toggle on one of my Oceanair roller blinds snapped off and flew who-knows-where. Amazed that I can't find it... must be in the trailer somewhere. Anyway, I'm scouring the web for a replacement of this silly little plastic part. I've found it in two places: oceanair for $17+$8 shipping, and some other vendor for $25+shipping. Seems insanely expensive for a couple tiny pieces of plastic. I'm considering fabricating it from plastic stock. Anybody have a good suggestion?
Thanks - Bill

I'm curious if you found a solution. Two of our toggles are broken, but still attached. The price is too outrageous for me.

I ended up making one. It took some time but worked out ok. The tubular part is a brass bushing from Ace. I cut a slot through its length and spread it slightly. The dangling part is shaped from a piece of wooden dowel rod. Picture attached.
