Quick and easy no-sew track curtains
Hi y'all! Some folks go all out on their Airstreams, but I'm just full-time slumming it in my 1976 Argosy. I did sew up some sweet pumpkin orange curtains with the track sliders top and bottom during lockdown, but I don't have a sewing machine now (and I'd rather be doing carpentry or maintenance anyhow).
My original bedroom curtains were both tired and filthy (though in surprisingly good shape for 50 year old drapes). So this week I snipped em off their sliders, bought some 70s inspired linen curtains for $37, folded them in half and used hook clips from Amazon on them to attach them to the track sliders (photos below). I even clipped in pleats. I'll probably sandwich in another layer for a bit of extra light blocking. Took me less than an hour to do the replacement.
Maybe I'll wash up the old ones and rig up something so I can replace the beat up original shade in the bathroom with them.
