Painting over Zolatone on Bathroom Walls
Hello - I've got a 64 Tradewind with the rear bath. That rear end cap is the only exposed area where a PO had not painted over the Zolatone. We've got everything gutted right now and are replacing the subfloor. We plan to use the 2 part epoxy process to refinish the tub/sink/bench. I would also like to paint the walls, not because the Zolatone is in bad condition...It's just brown and I find it rather ugly.
Since this is the bathroom, and some of the wall space I'll be painting is in the shower, what would be best to paint over the Zolatone with? (Bedsides a different color of Zolatone.) Is an exterior latex paint good enough considering it'll get wet??
