Question Paint removal

I just got a 1972 31 footer and the PO had painted the interior walls with latex paint. Doe's anyone know of a paint remover that is safe for the vinyl covering on the walls?

I belive any paint remover would disurb the vinyl covering as well as the paint.
I would experiment in a small test area before proceding, you might try a small test with some other products such as paint thinner or acetone but no matter what you decide to do, turn off all pilots and open all windows if using a flammable.

try some acetone. it will dissolve the latex and won't harm the wall covering-it's very flamable and volatile so be careful-use a couple big fans with all the windows open to exhaust the fumes and remember like everything, it is known to cause cancer. Don't plan on doing more than 1 sq ft at a time until you develop a feel for it.
