New Curtains!
Hi all,
I am excited to share our new curtains:
We bought the fabric online and had a local Upholstery shop sew them. The show was great and put them all together just right, even insuring that the arrows were centered and lined up.

curtains cost?
Nice, and not to pry but what type fabric and your cost for fabric, cost for work and did you furnish g fitting railing hardware? Did you get backing on curtains? Etc. Info is appreciated as many may need comparison. Thanks.

Not prying at all. We bought the nylon slides, crazy expensive almost $100 for them to see on. They used backing cloth, but we didn't get to pick it, which was my wife's only complaint. I think my wife got the fabric from Amazon for around $150 with shipping. It was $832 for the sewing, cutting, backing cloth, and installation.
All totaled, we are right at $1kish
Here is one half of the bedroom:

Very pretty. We only have a front window to do in ours. The other ones are old fashion shades.

Does anyone know if the Airstream supplied curtains can be dyed? Tired of the current basic creamy white.

We have not used these folks yet ( http://jpadrapes.com/) but are considering doing so. It doesn't answer your question about dying the fabric but there are a multitude of colors available should you want to go that route, albeit much more expensive, I would guess.

Thanks, but do not plan on buying new curtains. Physically nothing wrong with my current curtains. Just find the white ones boring. So still looking for dying information.

I want to find out more about the new blackout curtains on the 2017's. Sounds like it may just be a second layer of dark material that is sewn in. I don't really care for the cream color but wouldn't spend any money to do it. Blackout shades would be a yuuuuge improvement though.

Mrs says she's seen a hack where room darkening fabric was velcroed onto the back of curtains. Or if you want it a little more permanent, it could be sewed on.
You can get blackout fabric in white or black. Don't assume dark fabric will block out sunlight. Most won't.
