Andy,
Steve is right, I bought some of the "insert noseing" and it is perfect for that part of the restore. I am still looking for something to replace the plastic finish edgeing that goes down both sides right about where the end-cap begins, and across under the front windows, I need to take some pictures and post them.
What I'm talking about is the big curved one piece end cap on the end of the kitchen cabinet at the front of the trailer. They are one piece cream colored plastic that is riveted on and very cracked . I'm just trying to find a substitute. I'm considering upholstering these ends to match the sofa or using a wood piece. I have some beautiful stainless from one of my husband's jobsites, but it's not an AS it's an Argosy.
I am happy to report that I found a source for the "J" trim used to cover the raw edges of the interior aluminum panels. Oasis RV in Tucson, AZ. had it in stock. Stock number 200019. The charged me .35 per foot. I bought all they had; 31 feet, which I think is enought for what I need, but they told me they expect more in soon. . I bought the insert material from Inland RV and was very happy with it. There is just ine problem. If anyone knows how to get it back in the trim I would pay a million dollars for that info. I have tried to slide it and nurse it and it will only go so far before it just stops. I have a lot to do any suggestions will be taken very seriously. This is my baby and I'm taking her back to OEM specs.
