Holey Walls, Batman!

We are redoing an 85 Sovereign 27. It has many holes in the interreor walls, things were hung on hooks, old no longer used rivet and screw holes etc. How does one go about paching them be fore refinishing?

The simplest thing to do may be to put a rivet in each hole and round it over. it will come close to matching the existing rivets and look intentional. You could even paint the rivet heads to match any existing ones.

What do you plan to refinish with?
Holes in wood can be filled with fillers that are colored. Find one that matches closely.
Aluminum holes are more of a problem. You can put pop rivets in them, but if there are that many it will look bad. Maybe use the fabric that modern trailers sometimes have, cover over the whole mess. Good luck,
