Flipping a cushion

Due to overuse and crushing of our dinette seat cushion, I decided to remove the cushion from the cover and turn it so the compromised end is under the seat back. The only way to do it was to have the fuzzy side up. Now when I sit on the cushion, the opposite end blows up like a balloon. Now I know why the cushion has a fuzzy side.
Any other suggestions or ideas?
