Cleaning the front Fabric Curtain

We would like to clean the curtains in our AS. There is no label with cleaning instructions. Is it possible to run them through the washing machine, say on gentle cycle and dry them on low heat. Any suggestions. Thanks

2006, you should be good to wash on gentle, cold water, mild detergent. I would not dry them to 100%$ though, I would re-hang them while they are still slightly damp. Two reasons, shrinkage & heat setting in wrinkles.

Our 1964 drapes did not fare so well...but they were faded, ugly avocado green to begin with so I didn't care.

I had water stains on the front curtains of my CCD when I took delivery. It was from a leak while lot-bound which they fixed. Anyway, the folks at the dealer said to soak them in Woolite and all of the stains would come out. I was hesitant and skeptical to say the least, but it turned out to be the only good advice that I received from the dealer!! It worked beautifully......

I washed our '95's curtains the same way and they came out good as new. It's a little painstaking to take them down and put them up, but the results are fine. I had images of them disintegrating in the wash, but no problems. You'll enjoy the fresh look afterwards ~G
