Cleaning Mouse Fur

Hello,

I may not be searching in the right area but wanted to get some advice on general cleaning of mouse fur.

We have a trailer with mouse fur. It is in pretty good shape, not particularly stained with dust nor peeling off the walls. I would like to clean the entire interior.

From what I read, possibly the diluted bleach mixture spray, let sit, dry, then vacuum?

Also, any advice on the vinyl for the same reason would be appreciated. I am wanting to avoid creating any new issues since it looks pretty good.

Thank you!

This is what I used:

Put it in a spray bottle, spray a small area and then gently brush it in, and while still damp use a small hand-held carpet cleaning machine like a Green Machine and suck out the dirt using just warm water in the tank.

On my 2004 I carefully removed a section or 2 of mouse fur and put it in the washer, warm wash with Oxy Clean Delicate cycle. I had no problem with with the shape changing and it did a good job. To reattach I used velcro strips with adhesive to hold mouse fur in place. In the package are 2 strips only one side works. Apply it to the seams or where ever you need adhesion on the bare wall. Press the mouse fur against it and done. I used a plastic putty knife to tuck it back under the plastic seams. Good luck with your project.
