This is my second post about something I saw at the Tampa RV show. In the classic model I saw the roof down to the top of the windows had a leather vinyl covering that looked great and was much better than the stuff that came in my 86 sov. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? I don't think that is what everyone calls mouse fur. I would really like to update mine with this as it added a very nice touch.
it is very nice. I have it in my trailer. The only problem with it is that in a lot of trailers it separates and droops down I have one section in my '94 that is drooping now. It has delaminated between the actual vinyl surface and the foam backing. So it is a product problem not how it was glued in by Airstream. I'm going to try regluing it with water based contact cement.
Just something to think about before you go ahead.

The urethane foam breaks down due to heat and humidity, There is very little you can do about it. Therefore you can not successfully glue to it. You either need to go with bows or mechanical buttons screwed into the aluminum to solve the problem.

Is this on the roof or ceiling? Anybody got any photos?

I think the OP is speaking of the vinyl ceiling liner in some AS's. I have attached a link to photos of the inside of our Safari 25. It has a vinyl ceiling liner above the windows and mouse fur below the windows. We have been very happy with the vinyl / mouse fur combo.
