Question Ceiling Liner in 94 Classic Limited 34

Bought it a couple months ago. 1994 Classic Limited 34'. When the cool November temps hit OHIO (around 30 degrees) the ceiling vinyl started to de-laminate and hang down.

Need some repair suggestions. The foam has some sort of grainy stuff on it which might making gluing hard. Can it be glued? What type of adhesive and technique to get this done? Dealer can replace it for about 1300 bucks. That's a little rich for me right now.

That delamination was a common problem, that was caused by the adhesive being water based.

Other than refastening it with screws and/or moldings, it cannot be repaired.

The old adhesive from the wall and foam, would have to be removed, which is impossible.

Adding new adhesive, to the old, will fail in a short period of time.

That's like putting new paint on top of bad paint that's crumbling. It simply will not work.

Check out the pictures of a "quilted" ceiling repair from the link in Rob's post here.

I think I saw another "quilted" ceiling repair pictured here but couldn't find the post.

Here's a couple of threads to look over and there are more in the repair section forums.
