Available Mattress Patterns for 2016 22FB Sport?

Hi Everyone,
I've been searching for insight on whether there are mattress patterns available to make a fitted sheet for the 2016 22FB Sport. Does anyone know? I haven't been able to find a current thread on this topic in the forums, but if there is already, could someone direct me to the right topic?

Rocky Mountain Mattress makes custom mattresses for Airstreams and they state they make custom linens. You could contact Airstream to get a bed template drawing for your unit.

If there are any adventurous seamstresses out there who would enjoy figuring out how to master custom sheets on your own by converting existing flatted sheets into something reusable for airstream mattresses, please feel free to reach out.

We are interested too as the mattress shape/dimensions for the 2017 model has been changed from the 2016. I contacted AB Lifestyles and they don't have the pattern for 2017 (but they do for the 2016), but if I supplied it they would make a custom bottom sheet.

If you have had a good experience with a company actually making sheets and quality mattress pads that truly fit and are not blended fabrics that pill - please share! I ordered a rather pricey set and after a few washings the over $200 sheets pulled and raveled. The mattress pad was a disaster. So, news on a company who has quality fabrics and the mattress pad is thicker than interfacing would be great. Until then....

For our 2007 19' Bambi, we hauled out the existing mattress, placed it on 2x4 s supported by saw horses, covered it with a sheet, and recut the sheet to fit. I used a decorative stitch and colored thread to indicate the "head". This was a simple process. We then decided to buy a new mattress from Rocky Mountain just like what we have in our bedroom. Extremely good service and comfortable mattress. But...the sheets and mattress pad no longer fit the new Extra Deep mattress. Brilliant! Back to the sewing machine...

AS provided me with the exact dimensions for a 19' if anyone wants them, and I expect they will do the same for your FB. You might try your local dry cleaners shop for sewing. They often times do alterations, and I bet they would do the sewing if you brought in a sheet fitted to size.

I found custom fitted sheets and mattress cover for my 2016 22sport to be very pricy. I opted to do the best I can with quality queen size sheets and cover. It's a bit too large but it's functional.

Thanks for contributing, everyone! I was thinking the time and effort would be worthwhile instead of investing in a purchase, so I will give it a try and let you know how it goes. Taking the mattress out for sizing with a flat sheet sounds like a good first step. If I end up with a drawn template and repeatable instructions, I'll post it here.

I have purchased two sets of sheets, a mattress cover and a blanket for our airstream mattress from these guys. We have the rounded corner queen. Great fit, quality materials. Highly recommended!

My wife picked up some 610 count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets at Belk that we are very happy with. The fitted sheet has the cotton top and the sides have "Flexi-Fit" panels that stretch from 8" to 18". Anyway, my wife found some full size 610 count 100% Egyptian cotton sheets at Belk that work just great for our 2017 22FB. The fitted sheet has the cotton top but the sides are a stretchy "Flexi-Fit" panel that stretches from 8" to 18". It conforms very nicely to the shape of the mattress. If tucking the square corner of the top sheet around the mattress doesn't set off your OCD twitch, these sheets are a good solution. They feel great! They are on sale right now and the website even has coupons! Just do a Google search for "Belk 610 count cotton sheets" and you should find them
