anyone know where to get more of these?

I've been looking and looking, and I can't find anything like the old latch that secures the back of one of the gauchos in the upright position. I saved every big of hardware that came out of the trailer when I did the floor, ten years ago, but I could only find one of these. I gave up finding something new and put the old one back, and it works so well, I thought I'd try to find another one or two... so, anyone with something like this lying around that you might want to sell, please pm me. The rust doesn't bother me, maybe I'd get it bead blasted sometime when I have some free time. You can't see them unless you really try, the important thing is that they work so well. Sometimes the original item is really best, they knew what they were doing.

thanks

I hope you can find a used source. Otherwise, probably the closest you can come is marine cabinet hardware, which can be quite pricey. Here are a couple of examples from West Marine:
PERKO Latch at West Marine
PERKO Holddown at West Marine

Sorry, only have two...but I would like to know how they were installed: how does that back piece and "shelf" fit to wall. Could you post photos of the back and hardware installed in a '64?

If I don't use mine, I'll give them to you.

Thanks

Tim, thanks. the smaller latch is like one I got from VTS, which was too small. I like the bigger one, ya, not cheap. The originals are great cuz you just push the cushion against it ant it latches.

Safari64, I can get photos of how the shelf mounts- It is super simple, I think a screw at each end of the shelf, where the shelf tapers, and I think there are wooden blocks below the shelf, and screws go through those into the shell. It's simple- the trailer isn't here but I can go to it and take a pic of the shelf. If, you do decide you want to rid yourself of the latches, let me know.
