I have a 1989 Estella in very good shape. The trailer is non- moving under a palapa in Baja. The curtains need to be replaced. I have most of the plastic pieces, but to replace the existing curtains with all the tabs would be, I assume very expensive. Has anyone found an alternative?
thank you so much in advance.
I made my curtains using the originals as a pattern. If you've got a sewing machine, some decent sewing & pinning skills, and don't mind the tediousness of the job it's not that bad. You'll get to pick your fabric and style and have a project to keep you busy for a while till you hit the road.
Here's my thread from a couple of years ago showing the process of making the new ones.
