My International came with curtains only on the front panoramic windows. They were made well and certainly functional. I wanted a little more color inside and also wanted curtains on the remaining windows since the roll-down shades leave gaps on the side.
I purchased the curtain track and mounting brackets from my dealer in Alachua, FL and found the glides online. The track and brackets were easy to install once I got over the jitters of drilling holes into the skin of my brand new Airstream.
My mother enjoys sewing and was eager -- and a little nervous -- to help out. She did a fantastic job. All of these curtains were made with 5.5 yards of fabric that was 54" in width. I found the fabric online at a discount since it was the remnants of a larger roll. It is "famous maker outdoor fabric" which I suppose is code for Sunbrella or something similar. The curtains were also lined with black-out fabric ordered from the same online retailer.
The flash of the camera doesn't really do justice to how great the curtains match up with the cushion covers.
A new bedspread is in the planning stages. . .

Hello, ( 2006 Airstream international 25 ft)
Your curtains are great!
I am not a seamstress! I have a front Panoramic curtain that is made out of stained burlap from the previous owner. It has got to go.
Would your mother consider making more curtains ? For negotiated $$?
And if the answer is "NO" would anyone else in the airstream world make curtains?? Thank you
Well, my mother would be flattered, I'm sure, but she is not in a position to make curtains as a side business. I'm sure new curtains could be ordered from your Airstream dealer. I have no idea what they would cost, though.

Those look great! We have a vintage trailer we are working on. I'm doing the sewing but need to figure out what track and glides to use on the bottom of the curtains to hold them back against the wall. Do you happen to remember what the parts were that you ordered? It would help me a ton! Thanks in advance!
Hi Ashley -- I believe the part numbers you'll want are 101217 which is the curtain track and 101220 which is the 2" standoff mounting bracket for the track. I paid $1 per foot for the track and $2 each for the mounting brackets.
You'll probably also want part numbers 200784 and 200785 which are the right and left end caps to give it a nice finished look. They were $1.08 each.
The elastic T glides are part number 700044 and were priced at $0.55 each. I did not order these from Airstream as I found them much cheaper elsewhere online. Do a search for "curtain track t glides" and I think you'll come up with some good options.
I got the stainless steel screws from my local hardware store to mount the brackets.
In the diagram attached, there is some discrepancy in the part numbers for item #4. At the bottom of the page it indicates part number 101225 but beside the image is the number 101220. I believe the difference is this: 101225 is the part number for the track if sold by the foot whereas 101220 is the same profile but it is cut into 2" sections at the factory with a hole drilled for mounting. I would recommend you verify the difference in these part numbers with your dealer to be sure you get the part you want.

Hi jupitorj -- I'm afraid the original curtains are not for sale. I'll be hanging onto them and everything else that is original to the trailer to "restore" it at some point if I ever feel like it.
But a few words of caution. . . if you do purchase curtains from someone else for the panoramic windows make sure you're getting them from a trailer with the same width as yours. My 23' International is considered a "narrow body" at 8' wide. I believe anything longer than 23' is a "wide body" at 8.5' wide. This will make a difference in the curtains for the panoramic windows.

I have been planning on getting the shades for the side windows like the internationals but did not think about the gap you speak of. I will reassess, especially since the darn things are so expensive as I would require non International Airstream sizings and have to order custom sizes.
Do you want to sell the old roller shades? We would prefer that style for our 2005 CCD that has the old style of shades.
Sorry jupitorj, just realized you were referring to the original roller shades and not the original curtains. I did not remove the original roller shades so I can use them at the same time with the curtains for complete darkness at night.

I'd recommend the curtains if you don't want the creepy feeling of someone peeking in through the side gaps at night when you have the lights on.

Do you know where I can get factory track and all parts
Looking to do my back window on bambi. Taking me soooo long that I may never get this project done. 2 feet by 4 feet wide. Inlandrv wanted a picture but how hard is it to locate factory alum slider, brackets, 8 feet track. Now finding factory sunbrella material would be bonus!
And try http://www.fabricguru.com for fabric. That's where I got my "famous maker outdoor" fabric. I'm not sure if it's Sunbrella or not but I like the idea that it's four outdoors. That should help minimize fading.
