Hello!
The Stream is gutted and my electrician will begin work within 6 weeks! So progress. Looking ahead, I have found a metal worker that will reinstall aluminum walls for the interior for $3,000 total - he will provide all materials needed included the aluminum. He has done repair work on the belly already and is an excellent craftsman. Thoughts?
?? I am considering leaving much of the aluminum in a it's natural finish. Maybe painting sections.
Thoughts about leaving the aluminum unfinished in a wet bath?
Concerns?
If you plan on leaving some of the aluminum in its natural state, consider constant smudges, finger prints, etc. There are threads addressing products to seal the raw aluminum to keep a nice finish. Some have used a clear coat and others a product like Evershield. If that’s what you want, I’m sure there is something out there that will seal it. Good luck, Bubba
