Then black top will absorb heat in the daytime and radiate it during the night. It may start radiating in the afternoon if it is hot enough in the morning. If it gets cold at night, black top would seem to have an advantage, but not much. Seems like if you need 50 amp, that is where to go, but you'd only need that if you have 2 A/C's.
We've parked on black top, concrete, grass, dirt, gravel and probably some substance I have forgotten and never thought about it. I am accustomed to overthinking things and you may be also. An interesting question though and maybe others will have some proof of some outcomes on different surfaces. Maybe an awning out at night captures the radiated heat from the blacktop and warms the trailer, but I doubt it would be significant. Wind also matters.
