Jackson Hole to Glacier

We're in Yellowstone and Grand Tetons through most of June, then heading to Glacier in early July. Already have an rsvp at Johnson's RV Park, but might be heading to Lake Louise, Canada after Glacier. Couple of questions.

What route is desirable with the rig from Jackson Hole to St Mary MT? (got to retrieve someone from the airport there.)

Any good overnight places between Jackson Hole and St Mary? Or can one make it easily in one day. Happy to side trip if its a great road with good overnight spots.

Any good short term (one nighters) boon docking recommendations on the route to Glacier bay?

If you are just wanting to make time and go the quickest way, then over Teton Pass through Driggs to Idaho Falls and up I-15 - then west on US 2 and up to Browning, take the "Duck Lake" cut-off just as you enter town which brings you out to US 89 south of Babb (which is the entrance into Many Glacier) and you would turn left, or south, to get to Johnson's at St. Mary. You could make it in one day.

If you are going to Canada, don't forget your passports. If you are taking your time and making the trip between the two, as part of your vacation, that's a completely different answer. If that's what you're asking, how many days do you want between the two? Oh, and the airport in St. Mary is actually closer to Babb... if that's what you meant in your post!

If you've taken your trailer into Canada you know the drill. If this is the first trip pay attention to some of the rules. NO guns, NO pepper-spray. They may inspect at the border if they want to. We have never been inspected going northbound but did one time coming back into the US. NO citrus fruit coming back in. Check ahead for the rules if you have any pets. Other than that crossing the border is pretty event free so go and have a great time.
