Well, maybe. A Boondocker? Treasure Hunter? Someone on this Forum? Anyone on the Forum purchase a NEW Airstream in 2019 or 2020? Hmmmm. Suspicious, I say if someone DID and paid in gold nuggets and gemstones.
"Decoding the clues: After 10 years, the Fenn Treasure has finally been found."
Darwin Awards go to the 350,000 who purchased the memoir that contained the Poem that was in the 2010 SELF published memoir: 'The Thrill of the Chase' by Forest Fen.
The chest weighed 20 pounds and contained gold nuggets, gold coins, gemstones, claimed the author.
The 'cache' was estimated to be worth $1 million. Fenn was sent a photograph by the Finder, (Mr. Charles Darwin, I presume presented an award no doubt) as confirmation.
Read this N.Y. Times story... first. The Darwin candidates are many 349,999 of them.

"Someone Found a Buried Treasure Hidden in the Rocky Mountains" by Johnny Diaz
The LAST paragraph- OH... a bit of technical taxing authorities:
"Though the person who found the chest may remain anonymous, even to Mr. Fenn, the discovery may still come with some strings attached. Anyone who finds and keeps property that has been lost or abandoned, such as a treasure trove, will also find it “taxable to you at its fair market value in the first year it’s your undisputed possession,” according to the I.R.S."
