I am totally happy with the unit.
That's kool...but we don't drink 'electric' coffee. ☕️😂
And we 'old school toast on the stove, and love our muffins....TETO.

Yes, that is what it is. If you want to save some money and have more power get latest model from Giandel.Click image for larger version

This should provide adequate power to your Airstream converter (if not over 60 amps) and adequate power for a small microwave, hairdryer, toaster, etc. It seems a reasonable source of power to operate for minutes not hours.

I have installed a 1,000 watt inverter permanently in our Tundra and it works great. It works fine charging our Airstream because the converter is 45 amps. There is a thread in the electrical section with details of the installation.

Just for folks that might be interested in the 5.6 Lb 1,200 watt pure sine inverter by Giandel, it is currently on sale from Amazon for $169.96.

In my opinion, the “Car Generator” product is a huge inefficient and hard-on-your-tow-vehicle way to obtain marginal electrical power. Addiitonally, your tow-vehicle was NOT designed for hours and hours of idling. That is harmful to your vehicle in several ways. (Some police and service-vehicles are specifically modified/designed for long-period idling but those are taxpayer-supported operations and aren’t affordable for everyday us.)

A simple and likely less expensive way to accomplish similar results would be to build a battery-bank to power an inverter long-time, then re-charge the battery-bank during the next towing drive or other.

Simple and less expensive? A 1000 watt inverter is about $200. Each hour to operate the inverter will require a 100 Ah lithium battery or 200 Ah of lead acid batteries. Go ahead and build this and let’s see how well it works.

My 1,000 watt inverter powered by the Tundra, while we are driving down the road and not idling, works fine for us. I would also not have a problem idling the Tundra for minutes, not hours, if 120 volt power was needed.
