Boondocking Night Lights

Suggestion: After my wife crawled out of bed our first night on batteries-only and stumbled back and forth in the dark to the head, I thought, ah hah, night lights are in order. Shopped around until I found these small, lightweight, motion detector portable lights for 8 bucks each at Fred Meyer. These were the only motion lights I could find battery powered (3 AAA) that came on and shut off automatically. Used Adams suction cups (can't live without em), mounted one near the dining windows (20' flying cloud), one on the frig and one above the bathroom light and water heater switches (get out of bed, the light by the window comes on, walk by the frig, that light comes on, then walk into the bathroom and a light comes on). Same on the return trip. Each light has a notch at the top on the back to mount on the suction cup hooks. No fuss, no switches and no wake your spouse fumbling for a switch. Bigger AS, more lights. Unhook from suction cups to travel.

We have the opposite problem. There are so many darn lights in the trailer. There's the carbon monoxide detector, the fridge and the battery shut off. We mostly camp at our other property. No running water and no electric hook ups. Way too much light pollution in the trailer.
