Hi Sport... I have pumped 12 gallons of water up to this point and also fill other equipment such as lawnmowers with gasoline with a second pump at home. I would say that I have pumped 20 gallons of gas and its going strong.

Just a quick tip for the 12v pumps, if you put an RV plug on it you can easily plug it into the back of your tow rig for power. Just make sure your charge wire has the right rating for your pump. Most shouldn't have any issue because you're only pumping for volume not pressure. It makes it a little easier than having to pop your hood or battery box on the AS.

Like BoscoMN, I bought a pump that could also serve in the trailer should the installed pump go out.

I bought a "SEAFLO 12V DC 5.5 GPM 60 PSI 51-Series Diaphragm Water Pressure Pump" and connect it to my trailer's battery. I pump water out of my 150 gallon bladder that sits in the bed of the truck. It works great. The pump often empties the bladder faster than it was filled.

Second this recommendation and thanks to this post because this is what I found when searching. Fresh water is another weird RV “this basic thing is somehow complicated.” So the gravity pump worked quite well, with the caveat that I already had a camp table that was a few inches higher than the fresh water input (and was strong enough to lift it etc). With some of the drill pumps mentioned in this thread - not all of them are rated for drinking water, at least one amazon review had a mention about oil getting in the water. This gravity pump has food grade tubes, surprised how fast it worked.

Never needed it but it moved a lot of liquid without power and had options. Shaker valve, bulb, long hose.
