For the Olympic rivets, I ordered from Vintage Trailer Supply as mentioned by Robert Cross. These are the "shaveable" rivets that can be tooled to look like the original OEM buck rivets used on the outer skin. I'm also interested to see what this group has used for patch material and thickness.

Echo the thanks.

Repair turned out solid for now. I will keep my eyes on it this coming year. Used the Olympic 3/16" rivets, replaced the gasket with new, Tempro on the rivet back side. Widened the attachment hole in the wrap protector, and added three stainless washers to the attachment point to equalize the stress on the hat.

Might I suggest.
A washer on inside and outside of the panel will work better than the metal rattling around.. and you can adjust the locknut to proper tension... looks like a great job!!!
