Teardrop light installation issue
I've recently had to replace six very corroded teardrop marker lights on my 2004 AS Classic. I had success with five of them but one of the teardrops had a screw that was in such bad shape that when it came out of the aluminum skin, it created a hole too large for a new (oversized) stainless steel screw to replace it. A mechanic friend of mine has suggested using a nutsert or something similar to remedy the situation. Do any of you out there back this idea or have another option to suggest ? Thanks for considering.
