safari side name plate 1972

can anyone direct me where i can find one? the rivets broke on a long drive
cross country.

any help would be appreciated

Hi Dick and welcome.
Do you mean the plate to the side of the door handle that says Airstream on one side and Safari on the other, with the trailers serial numbers in between?
If so I think you may have to find a used one of of a wrecked trailer from eBAY or a salvaged unit.
If it is another emblem let us know with a picture of where it was.

hi richard
thanks for the help .i made a mistake [senior moment] what i meant was
the side plate that says landyacht. it is on the right side middle on my safari
once again thanks for any help

Keep your eye on Ebay for that one. It is more common as it will be the same piece for all size units of quite a few years.
Place an ad in the classifieds under parts wanted in case someone here has one.
