A PO removed the entire rear exterior endcap and ended up causing damage to the roof panels that run all the way down the trailer. I obviously want to avoid replacing the entire roof panels.
Any ideas out there on how to fix these bent up panels? I thought about cutting these sections out down to the nearest rib, which is about a 1 foot section, and putting in a new piece of aluminum. That way at least I can get these edges nice and flat and clean looking, and sealed well. Does anyone see any possible problems with that?
I do have the interior skins off, so I know I can just seal it really good from the inside, but I also want the exterior to look good.
any thoughts are much appreciated!
