Patch Piece

I have been looking for a small piece of Aluminum skin to make a patch on our 73 Safari.
I’ve looked on the net and everyone wants to sell me a 4 x 8 foot piece. That seems a bit excessive.
Does anyone have a piece about 12 x 4 inches they would be willing to sell me???

Do you have an airport nearby? You could call some of the hangars and ask if they have any scrap.

You will want to check on the particular sheet they sell in order to determine if they sell what you want.

If my own experience is any guide, you will want to buy a piece twice as large as you think you need!
