Opening of 3 meters to make a food truck

Hi, I have a 53 flying cloud 21ft. I would like to make a large opening to serve food! Has anyone done this? Do you have to resolidify the structure? Any hints will help me Thankyou

You will definitely need to reinforce the opening by adding framing members all around, top, sides, and bottom. Definitely more than you have around your existing windows, at least. Without more detail on what you intend to do I can't be more specific.

I suggest that you contact Jackson Center directly, and tell them what you plan to do. They would know better than anybody what kind of reinforcement you would need, and might even design the opening for you, if you ask nicely.

for food service you will need a beefed up frame and axle to handle the additional weight. There was no other vehicle beside a 53 to do this with? What a shame.

Thumbs up Just my thought's.....

Serve your food thru the back window, take orders thru the front.

The trailer will be worth much more when it's time to sell....and that time WILL come.

Please don't cut 'er up.
