olympic rivets
Hey you'all I need to find the supplier or manufactirer of Olymipics.
I know that inland sells 100 for 20$ but if I need say 1000, where do I go?
I need a few since the inside skin on my 63 26' will be silver-clad into the gally.

The interior skins were installed with pop rivets.

Byler Rivet had by far the lowest price on Olympics from the places I've bought from. They also have nice array of related tools.

McMasterCarr is one of my favorite firms to order from. They are fast, have a great inventory, and don't rip you off on shipping and handling.
I have no business interest in McMasterCarr, I just appreciate good service.

Return policy
For those that are interested, our return policy is clearly stated on our web site, at the bottom of the parts pages.
That same policy is printed on every invoice.

Re; Greg
Yes it is very obvious that the original interior skin was fastened with pop rivets but......... this is not a restoration project. This is a renovation.
My 63 will be a 1 of a kind. I hope to incorporate many inovative ideas that you'all will look at and just say "cool".
I hope that I am not disgrasing anyones sence of right and wrong by doing this but the last time that I checked the title was in my name.
Thank you all for your replies John

John, if you use olympic's you will have to redrill many interior holes. Some original interior rivets are 1/8 and some some are 5/32. I didn't get even a hint of anyone questioning what you want to do. Only giving you some information. You will be well served by getting an air compressor and air riveter. I found the $99 one worth the extra money at harbor freight.

"COOL STUFF"
Yes thanx, as I disassembled the intereor (with my 1/8" drill bitS ) I was thinking about all these new 5/32" holes. It will be a little time consuming but you know it's only time. I got more of that than money. I'm just glad that I have the want and talent to take on something like this ( my buddy Loren has been the brains).
I just couldnt let a pretty old girl like this go off to be a Red Bull can.
it will be a neat new rig with a classic old skin.
sometimes the best combination is the old with the new.
