need info and help

Hi everyone im new here but intersted. I just picked up a 1948 airfloat land yacht 22 footer. Its in real rough shape on the inside and the outside. Everything seems to be there. Most of the aluminum is straight and its all there. It has the portal windows, and is overall a neat trailer. My question is is it worth my time to dissamble it completely and restore it? I have the know how and skills. Also if anyone knows what the value might be or how I could find out. Thanks everyone. Ttyl

yes. it's worth the time to restore. you "just picked up"? Was it at the local convenience store?

i saw one for sale recently on ebay or CL but it was listed at like $11k.

That short one is adorable and airfloats are pretty rare. I'd pretty much give my first born.

Do you have pics? is it in good shape? is the floor soft? Is the interior orig?

KEEP IT AS ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE if you want to retain value.

Please post pics!

Well I actually got it for free via an ad on cl. Its in bad shape a full resto is in store for it. Tje floor, walls, ceiling all need replaced. It sat up in the mountains on blocks for 40 years as a weekender trailer. It rook an act of god to get it up and out of its location. Bur I managed to free it in a couple hours. It even has the dolly wheels on the front tongue. If you know where I can find more info id appreciate it. Thanks.
