Tomorrow wraps up my 3 day Airstream “refresh”. I’ve been blowing up the forum with my hitch story, dent fix, and thought you all might appreciate some photos from today’s project.
I full-time in my AS and even though it was detailed to perfection when I bought it in April, it needed a good 3 days of devotion.
The campground I stayed at in Colorado had a sprinkler system that did havoc on my rear bumper, not completely finished with that project but found a product that has the hard water spots looking like a mirror, “Wizards Metal Polish”. The hard water marks have been surprisingly hard to get rid of until finding this product.
I’ve also had great luck with getting my bathroom sink shined up. Historically vinegar hasn’t worked well for me, but I let vinegar sit in the bathroom sink for several hours today and it’s shining like new.
It’s pure joy working on the stream dream and seeing outcomes!
*If there are any Land Rover lovers out there, the Defender 110 is one of the toys or eye sores of the shop depending how you see it...starting to appreciate the resources of the family shop more and more as I age and get further into campers.
