Main rib dimensions at end caps
Hello all! I'll be installing some awning mounts on a '74 Land Yacht that has never had an awning before. I want to make sure I install the mounts with the most meat at the ribs.
I've read on an old post that the main ribs at the front and back where the end caps attach are about 2-1/2 wide hat channels, with 3/4" flanges on either side, only one of which has the rivets that are visible on the exterior shell.
My question is... is this accurate, and if it is, is the side with the rivetless flange on the trailers center side, or the endcap side?
