Been shot with an arrow...
Reminds me of the one legged guy on the train who would only permit one question

Groan, Jim....

Nice patch, though I wonder who would bother to shoot at trailers with a bow and arrow...

I heard that groan here in New Orleans.

A drunk would come to mind.

Why Jim, them's fighting words!

Well, I'm not the one living off "Bourbon Street!"

We just got back late Sunday. We had a great time--there were too many high points from our visit to mention. We'll be back, hopefully with trailer in tow!

The way some deer hunters shoot around here, it's no big surprise. We get all kinds. Some really interesting individuals come to Cambridge to hunt. Some even come here to buy Airstreams.

Mine was shot up when I got it as well, so we named her Shotgun! It DOES add character!

wow... we have pheasants round here. I hope they don't get clumsy as I can appreciate that kinda character in someone elses trailer but I would be mortified if it happened to mine

Interesting texture though

I looked at a '54 Cruiser here in Austin about a month ago that had some damage from a shotgun blast. A PO said that it was sitting out on a ridge in Colorado, and somebody just couldn't resist.

Note to self, don't leave Airstream sitting out on ridges in the Wild West.

But I gotta say that being shot with an arrow seems much more bizarre.

The New Orleans unit is starting up the Mardi Gras Rally which Katrina had ended if you are interested let me know and I will put you in contact with the local club.

I hope you made it to the JazzFest on friday, and not muddfest on Saturday. If you do go to the Jazzfest the rule is always go on the first nice day as rain will always fall one of the days, my wife was there on Friday.

The only Arrows in New Orleans were carried by the Mardi Gras Indians at Jazzfest.

An arrow ..... a good story to be told somewhere there...

Maybe Hensley or Custer or Harrold or Isaac Newton
none of the roll of the tongue though...

Six years ago we owned a storage facility 90 miles from our home and that's where we stored our MH over the Winter. That Spring we went down to get it and when I got home I noticed a huge hole in the right rear cornor. I had been the beneficiery of a shotgun slug. It was spent and only penetrated the outside layer and was in between the walls. Had to have the entire panel replaced at a healthy price.
The Insurance Company asked if I reported it to the police. I asked which county they prefered I report it to. I had passed through four.

You might want to carry a roll of aluminum tape in case this happens again...

Yes, we did go to Sog-Fest (oops, I mean Jazz Fest) on Saturday! It was our only opportunity and despite the vast quantities of rain, we had a great time. I heard a lot of Katrina jokes as the tent we were in started flooding--to about 1' in some parts. However, some folks just danced in the puddles! I pulled up my legs and sat cross legged!

Unfortunately, as long as keep this job, Mardi Gras is probably out of possibility--I think it coincides with our legislative session here. However, Jazz Fest is a likely definite: Rick and I are next year's trip organizers!
