I need to replace two sections of belly wrap. The manual I have shows the material to be 3004 aluminum sheet .024 thick. All I can find so far is 3003 sheet .025 thick.
So is the difference any big deal or will one do just as well as the other.
Thanks - it's actually going to be visible - here is a photo of one of the problem areas. It was creased by the PO and I presume touching the outrigger - difference in the metals caused the corrosion...??? This is just rear of the door.
No, it's just an effect of breathing the fresh smog, er, air in L.A.
I don't think the extra .001" is going to make much difference in the bananna wrap, either.
