That's true Terry, Luckily it's not in the end cap. We'll see what happens. There's no real crease in the dent. I may try a body man's suction cup. The crappy part is that it coresponds to the where the shower is inside the trailer, so getting to it from inside is a major job. George.

Just have to repair the a/c cover (or a new one is $211) and let the Texas heat soften the "beauty marks".

Time to have a "burn the mortgage" celebration

Congratulations on a paid in full coach. Now you can use the payment money to travel and go camp more.

my question is : Do you now have a salvage title and how will that effect the sale price in the future? I believe that my MH was at Bizmark in the hailstorm. I have a salvage title , but it was the MH that we wanted and it was in good condition so we bought it. The front endcap has lots of dimples remaining.

When I look up at her dimples and in the mirrow at my wrinkles, I know that she and I are survivors and LIFE IS GOOD. Lets go camping.

salvage title?

I asked that exact question when given the option to buy back...Texas does not require the title to reflect salvage when due to a hail storm, so an absolutely clear title...and some gas money to boot!

hail repair on TV - update

Just got the truck back from a PDR outfit in The Colony...all I can say is it must be magic! There is not even the hint that it ever had a mark on it and I was mucho suspicious about this technique when I dropped it off! I would love to see just exactly how they do this.
Strangely, there aren't even any scratches or signs of anything ever happening under the hood, doors, etc...(now I have a plausible explanation for Extra Terrestrials).

Moreover, it pays to shop around and find an outfit that will do good work without having to pay a penny in deductible ($1000 in my case and they even paid for a rental for 9 days! and no, I didn't have rental coverage).
