....to tackle this....
You may remember this from 2 years ago. The PO did something which I have never been able to figure out, but the rib that the corner protector hinge is attached to was caved inward and the panel was oil canned.
After pondering it for two years, I peeled back the mouse fur behind the couch and went after the rib, without removing the inner skin, with a block of oak and a 5 lb sledge.
I didn't take any pictures of this process...too nerve wracking, but slowly I began to see the rib straighten out from the outside.
Then I got out all my body stuff...
I then worked with the pneumatic suction puller, hot glue puller, and various high point relief tools.
I wound up with this:
As usual with aluminum skin repairs, with no access to the back of the outer skin, it's not perfect, but a lot better.
