Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr............................

On our maiden voyage with our brand new 2013 27' Flying Cloud, a mere 200 miles into our close to 3000 mile trip, I scraped the left side on some gas pump protectors.
I was just SICK about it, but continued our trip without further incident.
Blue Sky Insurance was great to work with, and my Stream is now at Northwest Adventures in Portland, Oregon awaiting parts.
I will keep up on repairs until I get my baby back.

FWIW, when I stuffed my 2012 27FB International into a tight spot at Crater Lake National Park and put scratches down both sides of my previously virgin aluminum my first thoughts were "well, it's not new anymore".

Since I plan on owning my A/S for a few decades I'm going to call every mishap a character mark :-)

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Our Dear Lucy has all kinds of dents and dings. Yes, they upset us a each one happened, but we decided to just use her anyway. WE are now eight years and 1248 camping nights into our journey, and Lucy works as good as she ever did. We are camped tonight in Lucy in Epsom, New Hampshire. All is right with the world, dents and all.

Brian

We have quite a few scratches in the clear coat, mostly as a result of overgrown vegetation in our Provincial Parks. It's annoying to see but as others have said, it's a sign of use, which is good. We still have the big scratch and ding that I put in into it on our maiden trip; it serves as a reminder to be more careful and we'll only get it fixed if we need any other major work done. Our friendly sales guy at the dealer's calls it "patina"; I can live with that
