Dents
Our newly purchased 86 Sov. has a medium sized dent/ crease on the front corner. Can these be 'pulled' or does the skin usually need to be replaced?

Dents can often be popped out, creases are forever. You could hide the crease by installing segment protectors on the front of the trailer.

A skillful bodyman can push out a dent and make it disappear almost completely. But you need access to the back of the panel which would mean removing some furnishings and inside panels for access.

Have a 1976 Sovereign that was damaged in our December ice storm last year. When the weather warmed up I was out washing it and when the cold water hit the aluminum that had been warmed by the sun, one of the large dents popped out with a bang. We were able to go into the cabinet above the front sofa and cut a hole in the metal lining and took a padded board and out fist and pushed out the rest of the dents. I'm happy the dents weren't in the rear, which has no cabinets, because that would have meant taking out the interior cover. This was actually pretty simple. I worried about my beautiful trailer for several weeks and I needn't have.

Have also heard of popping out dents by chilling the dent with dry ice. This was on a car. Since aluminum expands and shrinks more than steel it should work even better on an Airstream.

Get yourself one of those big suction cups for body work and pull it out. It worked on the dent on my hood when snow fell of the roof. I am going to give it a try on my AS dent in the rear when the weather warms up again.

i would call an RV service place and see what they could do about it or what they'd suggest as far as the DIY part goes.

We have a dent in the front left of our Bambi. We purchased it that way. The small suction-cup device we bought at Harbor Freight didn't help much so we took it to our RV place. They said the panel needs to be replaced, which would cost $4,000. ERgo, we have learned to love it.

We have a few small-ish bumps & bruises on our '72 Overlander & I'm thinking a great, temporary solution would be to copy "Airstream Life". They have a small photo of their trailer on page 4 of their Winter 2008 magazine, it has a few giant size luggage stickers on it that I think look great! I'm headed to their blog to see if I can find out where they got their "bandaids"!
