Cheap rivet shaver?

Is there a cheaper way than the $200+ shaver tools for getting a reasonable finish on Olympic rivets? Seems pretty overpriced.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Sure, use a dremel with a sanding drum. It's a bit tedious, but I've done probably 100 rivets that way. But only a handful or two at a time (if I was staring down 100 rivets all at once, I'd probably spring for the tool).

I believe that you can rent a rivet shaver. That might be the way to go if your need is temporary or only occasional.
