Brazier rivet sets

I’ve started restoration of my windows, & realize that I need to order my rivet gun now. My question is about rivet sets. I know that I need 1/8” & 5/32 sets. Will a cupped rivet set work, or do I need specifically brazier? Vintage Airstream Supply is currently out of stock. Where else can I buy these? Thank you!

If you plan on using 455 rivets you will need 455 sets. I bought mine at US Industrial Supply. They do have a 50.00 minimum order so have other tools in mind.

By the way, I only use 470 rivets, more choices on sizes and alloys. I only bought the 455 sets for when I help others that want to use 455's.

Do you have a link to the rivets you bought? When I go to their website I only see platforms and no tools.

Aerowood thank you very much for the information. My rivet gun & supplies are on the way. There is so much to learn doing this remodel. I’m trying to remember the old adage, “by the inch it’s a cinch, by the yard it’s hard” & now overwhelm myself.

Looking forward to learning how to buck rivet.

Full P/N is either MS20470xX-xx or the same number minus the MS20 but with an AN

470 is the head style=universal
x is alloy, A=1100 aluminum, dead soft, AD=2117 aluminum
X is diameter in 1/32”intervals 5=5/32”
xx is length in 1/16” intervals

AN470A5-4 is 1100 alloy, 5/32” diameter and 1/4” long

Try Aircraft Spruce with the P/N you need.

Oh, 455 is a brazier head rivet.
