Booboo bringing the girl home :(

We picked up our '66 Sovereign from storage in MI after moving to CO 2 years ago. She's our second project and it's nice to have her local again. Ran into severe weather in the Chicago area last Monday while on our way to visit friends on the way home. Pulled into a gas station and mis-judged a turn. Crunched her into the gas pump protection rail...thankfully no structural damage (in between wall ribs). It'll be a decent sized patch but not too bad.

Ouch! That looks like a perfect place to install a fake Water Heater cover...

I'll cut and patch out to the ribs and down using Olympics. Negligible interior damage...

Ouch is right!

Would it be an appropriate place for a storage compartment door - say under a gaucho or something?

Put a patch on it with a nice sign saying, danger, snakes inside! No one will ask about the patch, only the snakes. Jim

Hadn't thought of a storage door...I may just do that. Thanks.
