61 Bambi - Bows

I removed the inner skin on the trailer and found that both of the complete bows were cut and joined in the center.
Question for anyone that has had the inner skin off a Bambi, did the factory use a bow from another trailer and cut it down for the Bambi? If this wasn't the way they built them, then I know that 16TDSS1659 was rebuilt sometime in the past. If the factory cut and joined bows, what trailer did they use?
Thanks for your help and ideas, Wally

Since the Bambi was a tad smaller, Airstream used the regular bows, but cut them down a little.

Doesn't hurt a thing.

I do know that '61 Bambis (as well as 60's Caravels) are narrower than the larger trailers...it may be a factory thing.
