Do you install wooden panels right over the interior skin or take the skin out and start from scratch. If over the skin what thickness of wood and how do you attach it to the skin. Via rivets or what? I would like to give my 62 GT a woodsy feel since I now have removed just about everything while having to replace several areas of the rotting subflooring.

I have to say upfront I dont know alot about this but................ I would worry alot about adding that much wood to the trailer, esp high up. Im not sure how that will change weight distribution and what not. I would be very very carefull about doing this.
carlos, on the other hand, is a little ahead of me, and is using plywood, rather than laminate. if you have fiberglass endcaps, this might be the method for you:
