Where to buy metal edging?

My winter project, if I ever get started is to build a new dinette table and benches.

I am researching edging techniques for the table and counter. I don't care for the t-molding since I'd have to route a groove for it.

I noticed vintage-vacations ususally uses a screw on metal edge that looks nice.

I've searched the net and cannot find a source for it.

Here is a picture of what I am looking for from vintage vacations .

Anyone have any ideas...?

I purchased similar metal edging for a kitchen rehab several years ago at a large hardware store. I would check the Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace hardware stores to see if they have it in stock.

I agree...

I found aluminum edging in several sizes, thicknesses, and shapes at the local hardware store, as well as Home Depot. I found it near the rope, but probably varies from store to store. It worked in several places, quite nicely.

Here's the best pic I could find, sorry I'm in it.

Thanks guys. I was looking near the laminate sheets and did not see it.

I'll look again.

Check out Ohio Diners. Click the "Sales" button on left, then click "Edge molding" to see what they have. Pricey, but very nice looking stuff. If anyone checks to see how many feet of molding their $150 minimum gets you, please post some info here.

Another place that may have what you're looking for is Outwater Plastics. Although their name says plastic they carry alot, and I mean alot, of metal parts. They can be found at outwater.com
