Want to replace kitchen tambour doors

Hi all, I'm sick of fixing these tambour doors under the sink in our Argosy. The spirals break every few years, the tambour delaminates, etc. I'd like to do some type of sliding doors. Any ideas for the type of track that can be used, and what type of wood would you suggest? Thanks, G.
