If you ever find out - I do hope you will share it here - we have looked everywhere too. Our 69 has them on floor cabinet doors. Many of them were split - so we had to make a makeshift - with clear plastic that is used for marine applications window in soft cover 'Camper Tops" windows - until we can find a suitable replacement.
this is a picture of the door you can see the brown plastic hing on the top of the door. These are under the back bedroom as well. We thought of piano hinge but the space is too thin - there is just enough room to get the door through.
The one on the righ had a split almost all the way through - you can see the clear separation. The one on the left was fine.
Note we have added the brass trim - to protect the delicate edges so that the veneer does not peel any more than it had.
Gee that picture seems like eons ago....

I'm thinking of doing away with the hinges and using instead a piece of canvas as a hinge the entire width of the door. It goes on with Barge or some other strong qlue and they are easy to replace. That is how they make the tambor doors and it is very efficient.

You may find that you will need something more ridged - as the angle in which to lift and shuv back onto the top piece and pull forward (hard to expalin) - may get caught and eventually wear the canvas or rip it.

Since mine doesn't have this, can anyone post a picture of this plast hinge thingy? I'm curious whether or not it can be fabricated.

If we are all talking about the same hinge - this is it.
It is simply stapled into the back of the door. The top piece is only about 3 inches but keeps the door in the track when you lift it and slide it back.

hinges
i like that idea of using the canvas. the plastic on my doors seams to run the length of the door and covers maybe a 1/2 inch down the front but i must say that i havent looked to much at the rest of the hinge. i need to find somthing because the door has compleatly broken off.

On my 67 I used brown piano hinges. I left the plastic on the wood and the piano hinge can't be seen. The plastic hinge has to be broken right across to make the piano hinge work. They work just fine but I would like to find the original.

bin door hinges
Wow, My trailer doesn't have a single one of those that I can find....They all appear to be hinged on the bottom edge and the door just swings down and lays on the floor, where you are able to slide the tray out and onto the door, (being careful not to break the plastic latch) located at the top edge of the door! Is this right? Or am I confused? Maybe it is different, (as mine appear factory installed ) on different interior packages? My trailer has the front twins and mid gaucho.... Ed
