Table Leg for FBs

Our 27 FB has the rear dinette with a wobbly foldable leg in the middle. Very cheap and my wife hates it. We went to a dealer yesterday (great Saturday activity) and saw the new units. They have a new, oblong aluminum design that seems much sturdier. Before I call AS, do you all have any good suggestions?

If you decide to get one of these legs you will need to order it thru a Airstream dealer. Airstream will sell parts to anyone at the factory but they will only ship to authorized dealers.

Broken Bracket

We have a 27'FB also. The bracket is broken and the table support will no longer latch. We are going to a dealer next Tuesday.
Will they replace this one with the new larger leg? We are still under warranty.

The dinette leg on my FC broke on me not that long ago. The shop replaced it under warranty with a much sturdier model. AS knows its weak so they covered it without any hassle.

I'd go get a picture for you but it's back in the shop for the POS tank monitor system.

Gee I've had 3 Airstreams now with the small leg and haven't had any problems. But there is no doubt the new "Premium" leg is much nicer and should be much sturdier. Looked into getting one of these a year or so ago. This is Airstream Part # 382177 and the price I was quoted at the time was $67.90. Was at the factory in May and was going to get one but never did get around to it.

We have a 2007 International 27' FB. We too had a very wobbly table leg. We also like to leave our dinette table down and have our AS in the lounge configuration. The table had to be just right, or it would fall down sometimes. We bought a Springfield Marine adjustable table pedestal and had it installed. They sell it on the Camping World website. It is very sturdy and we have really enjoyed knowing the table isn't going to fall down and squish the dogs or hurt one of us.
